Meet the 2021 team!

Fai

Hello, my name is Fai Chan and I’m in year 12. I’m also the Digital Technology Representative. I’m always interested in any kinds of new technology, and this year I want to get more hands on with technology. I have prior experience with Adobe products, block coding, mobile app development, digital art and blogging. I’m hoping to be more familiar with the technology we have at school, and throughout this year, I aim to inspire everyone to take on some new challenges.

Ella

Hi all! My name is Ella, I’m in year 12 this year, I have been a part of the DT committee since year 7 and am loving it! In my free time I work in broadcast and am a live TV director, technician, and camera operator. I am very interested in the field of live events, so I am also skilling up in lighting operation, stage management and sound design! (I am currently learning on the Hedgehog max 4 and GrandMA 2). I love playing around with Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro. If you ever have tech issues, big or small, feel free to come and ask me about it and we can sort it out together! 😀

Nikita

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, my name’s Nikita and I’m currently in year 12! This is my first year in the DT committee, and I’m really, really excited as to what this year’s going to bring. I have an interest in engineering, computer science, machine learning and gaming, and I’m just starting to get into coding as well. I’m really looking forward to exploring these interests with people who like similar things, and I also can’t wait to do some 3D printing and find out what other options are available to me in the DT world!!

Rebecca

Hi, my name is Rebecca. I am currently in year 12 and it is my first time joining the DT committee. I’m really interested in the field of 3D printing and I can’t wait to learn how to use this technology to make our imagination come true. I’m good at having the skill of PS, especially for making portraits. The reason I joined the DT committee is because the courses that I would like to study at university is related to the technical things such as coding and design. So, I would really like to gain a nice experience throughout different events in DT. If you have any troubles, feel free to approach me – I would be delighted to help.

Toni

Heya, my name is Toni and I’m a year 11. I am a member of the DT committee, joining in 2019. I know how to use most Autodesk programs, e.g. fusion360 & inventor pro, illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Aftereffects, and most of Google. I also know how to use Clip Studio Paint if anyone does digital art 🙂

Diana

Hi, my name is Diana and I am a year 11 student. I am a member of the digital technology committee starting from 2019. I joined the committee because I have been interested in robots and coding since young. I can use Fusion 360, all the Microsoft applications and all the Adobe apps.

Inika

Hi! I’m Inika, I’m in year 11, and this is my second year in the DT committee. I joined the DT again because of the friendly environment and I hope to improve my skills with technology such as 3D printing and laser cutting. If you need help editing, I know how to use Premiere Pro as well as iMovie. I also have a basic understanding on fusion360 and have done a little bit of circuit work (soldering, etc), so I can try to help out with that. If you have any other problems, I’m always happy to try and help and I can direct you to someone who might know more if I can’t help myself.

Wussup dudes I’m Serena and I’m in year 11. I don’t remember when I joined DT but since all my friends are there you’ll find me there too. I know nothing about tech but i can do some photoshop and indesign. I also play videos games including VR so yeh :3

Amy

Hi, my name is Amy and I’m in year 11 this year and had joined the DT Committee last year. I know how to use a few of the Adobe apps including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc. I also can use 3D printer apps such as Fusion 360 and Tinker Cad although I’m not as familiar to the these compared to the Adobe apps.

Chrissie

Hello! My name is Chrissie. I am currently a year 11 student that has a major passion for engineering. I first started DT in year 10 and I have enjoyed the experience I’ve had in this committee thus far, so I decided to come back in 2021. Last year I underwent a VET course on electrotechnology and electronics, where I was the only female in my class. I learnt the basics about wiring, soldering and ohms law. I did not however learn any new social skills. I am good with adobe software, electronics and I also know the basics of Blender, which is a platform used for 3d modelling and animation. I hope that this year we get to learn more about robotics and coding!

Hi everyone, my name is Eva, and I am in Year 10. This is my second year being a member of the Digital Technology Committee and I am excited to learn how to 3D print and improve my knowledge and skills. I have a basic knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Illustrator, and OneDrive. I am also able to help with music software such as Sibelius and Garageband. I am looking forward to this year and am always happy to help.

Sophia

I am Sophia and I am in year 10. I was in the DT committee since year 8 and I joined the committee because I would like to learn more about coding and designing. I know a little bit about how to use Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro. I had some experience with simple coding and robot building and spheros. I am looking forward to the Robo Cup this year which involved designing and coding.

Aniela

Hi, my name is Aniela, and I am in year 10. This is my second year in the Digital Technology Committee, and I am super excited. I hope that I can extend my 3D printing and Adobe Illustrator skills which I worked on last year in the committee. I am also looking forward to trying different activities and learning about other aspects of technology. I really enjoyed the DT Committee last year and am looking forward to the coming year.

Charlotte

Hi everyone, I’m Charlotte and I’m in year 10. This is my first year in the DT committee and I’m excited to further expand my DT skills while working with other students. I enjoying working with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (although I’m much better at Illustrator) and have also used TinkerCad and for various class projects last year. I’m looking forward to starting lots of new projects this year and am always happy to help.

Anzhuo

Hi, my name is Anzhuo, and I’m in year 10. This is my second year in the DT committee. I really enjoy Photoshop and 3D printing. The reason why I joined the DT committee because I think learning the knowledge on technology can give me better influence in my daily life. The skills that I can bring to the DT committee are photoshop and some basic coding.

Hi, my name is Ashley, and this year I’m in year 10. This is my first year in the DT committee and I joined because I’ve always been interested in technology. I know a little bit about using tinker cad and adobe to 3D print and laser cut, and I’m hoping to learn more through this committee.

Annie

Hello there! I’m Annie and I’m in year 10. This is my first time being in the DT committee and I joined because I want to develop new technology skills; I especially want to learn laser cutting. I currently have little to no tech skills, but I’m very enthusiastic to learn! I love drawing and have some level of understanding with most illustration programs such as photoshop, adobe illustrator and animator. I’m also trying to learn 2D animation.

Brianna

Hi, my name is Brianna, and I am in year 10 this year. This is my first year in the DT committee, but I have previously worked with Photoshop, Illustrator, Fusion 360, Tinkercad and more. I did DT and Subs in Schools last year, so I do know a fair amount about illustrator and 3D printing platforms. I really enjoy 3D printing and laser cutting. I joined the DT committee because I enjoy working with technology and improving my skills to create interesting designs.

Billie

Hi! My name is Billie. I am in year 9 this year and this is my first year of the DT committee. My interests are very boring, but I really enjoy music and technology whether that’s something to do with AI or security regarding cyber studies. I would love to broaden my view of digital technology and explore deeper into the committee that has been provided. I love to code, even though sometimes I get super confused but extending onto that it would be a great opportunity to learn. I love to make things in craft, and I think that 3D printing is super cool, although I have never printed anything 3D. I cannot wait to see what the year brings in this committee and what opportunities are given!

Emily

Hi! My name is Emily, and I am in Year 9. This is my first year in the DT committee. As far as I remember I have always enjoyed technology, from computer and tech lessons in primary school to Cyber and AI/Robotics and Space right now. I am not scared to try new things, for example when I tried python coding and just ended up with a jumble of numbers and letters. It didn’t make anything, but I had fun. After a lot of practice, I ended up with a game of sorts, however simple it may have been. I know how to use the 3D printers as I was in charge of printing my whole classes’ designs last year. I like to think that I am pretty good at Photoshop and the 3D printing website Tinker Cad. I’m excited for all the possibilities the DT committee can provide for me.

My name is Jasmine, I’m in Year 9 and I have (some) experience in Fusion 360, Photoshop, etc.

I have many experiences at my other school being in the DT afterschool club for a few years where I did coding on Grok, Scratch, etc.

My name is An, and I have many experiences in DT. I am new this year to wilderness. At my previous school, I was in the DT club where we participated in 3D Printing, Video creating, coding, Digital; Technology Quizes. I have many experience in 3D printing using TINKERCAD. I have created many things including a braille cube, a martial arts name tag, a mountain, a monkey, and a go cart. I am very excited to be a part of this committee.

Sarah

Hi, I’m Sarah and I’m in year 7, this is my first year in the dt committee! I joined because I like animating/designing and I feel as if joining this committee would be a nice break from other schoolwork. I have coded on lots of websites before (example; code.org) I’m excited to see what we’ll be doing.

Jess

Hi, my name is Jess I’m in year 7 sparaxis and this is my first time joining the dt committee,

Some things that I am interested in are 3D printing, volleyball, lacrosse, designing and playing games.

I joined the dt committee because I want to get better at coding and designing 3D prints. I do have some experience with 3D printing and coding, but I couldn’t code of by heart. My dad is also an engineer and loves to code so he occasionally shows me some things that he has done.

Anastasia

Hey! My name is Anastasia. I am very excited to be on the DT committee this year and hope to make new friends. As a year 7, this year is my first time on the DT committee, so I would love to take the opportunity to learn how to 3D print and use adobe photoshop, among other things. Currently, I don’t know too much about using technology apart from the basics, such as the Microsoft applications Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, but I hope to expand my knowledge this year through the DT committee’s many initiatives.

Hey, my name is Layla, I am in year 7 this year and this is my first year in DT committee. I am excited to be in this committee because I can learn how to get better at using a laptop and I can make new friends. I am not really that experience with devices, but I am willing to learn.

I can’t wait to start 3D printing and lazar cutting.

Hi, My Name is Graziella and I am in year 7. This year is my first year on the DT committee and I really hope I enjoy it. I love designing ideas with 3D printers and I have had experience with scratch.
